UFO Orb Event - The Dome of the Rock / Temple Mount, Jerusalem

January 28th 2011 - "Witnesses noticed the large oval shaped UFO suspended on the night skyline. At about one minute into the clip the UFO descends almost to ground level directly over the Dome of the Rock-Temple Mount. The oval UFO hovers there for a short while, flashes lights into surrounding buildings then shoots upwards at an incredible speed. Witnesses were totally taken back and amazed at what they had just seen.”

I was doing research on this very topic to post about it.

Here is a site that claims the video to be a hoax, but I wonder if the fluxuating wall level could be due to something with the camera angle? I'm no expert, obviously.

My first impression was there was a light from above projected down on the area, and that would explain the lighting of the back of the observer's jacket as well. It definitely did not appear that the "orb" or UFO was the source of the blast of light. But perhaps the blast was a warning or signal to the UFO to leave, or maybe a protective energy barrier for the area.

Some seem totally convinced this is a hoax. If multiple people saw this and filmed it, that makes it seem more believeable that it happened as the film shows.

Cant make my mind up on this one. Whatever it was certainly moved fast, but there are some good hoaxers out there.

Lon posted a new video today on Phantoms and Monsters site that surfaced by American tourists of this UFO event. It really does make the case stronger that this was a real and not a hoax event.

What it actually was, whether a holographic projection, an intelligent energy source making itself known for some reason, or something I can't fathom, is still up for debate. But it is amazing.
