| Well, as we all know this whole 2012 Doomsday Scenario has been around, for at least 5 years (to my memory) and has gotten a lot of press. Wiki refers to it as the "2012 Phenomenon". As I've told Spiritlady, I don't expect much to come of it. Four years ago I told her I expect there to be some minor spiritual occurrence that the most ardent believers will interpret as the meaning of the 2012 Phenomenon. But now we're only a little over 12 months away; the countdown begins. I'm still monitoring world events and so far, my views are unchanged... SO FAR... https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/2012_phenomenon _________________ "Truth is as subjective as reality. | I remember you saying that Tyco and I am with you on it. What worries me is those that look at all the disasters that are occurring around the world plus the economic side to it, panicing and doing silly things. Like gathering on sacred mountains etc. Stock piling food and its even been known for fanatics to wipe out their families to spare their suffering.
Look at 2000 for instance. Reading forums etc on this it is obvious that there are so many terrified. My view on this is if it is going to happen there is nothing anyone can do, so I would just going to sit and wait for it. Maybe drink a bottle of wine and watch telly until the signal goes.
I believe the meaning of 2012 lies somewhere else rather then the world ending. If it happens it happens. _________________ Span time and Space

| I think many are terrified also because of what the dark illuminati will do in addition to the acts of terrorism and tyranny that they have already committed. It is a sad and harsh reality. If the world ends I hope its quickly with minimal to no suffering. I would rather that than be around for what the evil ones have planned. _________________ tearz4humanity..a thorn in the ass of evil since 1980. |

| Thanks everyone! We're excited about it. Planning something small. I have a good friend that officiates, and operates a wedding chapel out of an historic victorian home in our area, so the plan is to have it done there, with an intimate reception afterwards in our home. LOL .. talk about being an old maid... at least I will be a bride before I hit 50. |

Yeah, Tyco, I have a space ship. It is 7,926 miles "wide", or 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 km) in circumference and travels at about 67,000 mph. It also has all the comforts of home.
It moves through space, rotating at about 1,000 mph and I don't even feel it. It's a great design, built to last and take some hard knocks.
Yeah, it's pretty cozy, right here on my space ship. _________________ Lightwalker/Sunny "E tan, e epi tan" |
