First topic message reminder :

Well I never thought I would ever be asking for your prayers personally, not sure if any of you know but my mother had a fall a while ago and broke her hip which is now pinned. She is in alot of pain and now they are testing for kidney failure due to her diabetes her potasium level is high among other things and she is on saline drips.
She is not eating much and was bullied on one night by a male nurse who besides shouting at her for ringing her bell because she wanted to go to the loo also gave her a push resulting in mum wetting the bed...but he is now being investigated.
She is becoming depressed and is very frightened and worrrying about what will happen to her. She is 86.

So for once I am asking for something for myself PLEASE pray that my mum gets better.

Went up to London yesterday to see my mum who is very frail and not eating much. Then came home and last night my dog Willow we think had a heart attack, she is on a drip in the animal hospital so please pray for her recovery. I don't know what I am doing or going to do yet just feel lost.

Aww...Irene. I am deeply sorry to hear about your mother and your dogs health. To me they are some of the most important figures and symbols of love in ones life. I will certainly pray for both of them to have a speedy and strong recovery. I am certain that the Lord will hold them close to His heart. *hugs*

So sorry to hear we have lost Willow.
I know you are going to miss her dreadfully. I know you was a left half and she was your right half. You too had a special bond.
Wish I could be there for you, i feel how sad you are.

ITS THE MOST HEARTBREAKING AND HOPELESS FEELING IN THE WORLD...2 YEARS AGO I LOST 2 OF MY BABIES...2 MONTHS APART....I WAS IN A WALKIN COMA OF GRIEF, DISBELIEFE AND HEARTBREAK....MY HEART GOES OUT TO U DEAR FRIEND....JD HAD TOLD ME THEY ALWAYS CROSS RIGHT OVER....THAT WAS SUCH A COMFORT....BE STRONG HONEY...LIFE LEAVES US LITTLE CHOICE AT THESE TIMES.....

Reading through this I am reminded again of my Figgy whom I lost in November. I also had a broken heart, but like you helped me realize she is still with me and so is your Willow. It does not change the fact that they are physically lost to us, but please take comfort. And as I remember caring for my mother whom I lost ten years ago I must say that it is not just your mother that needs the love and prayers, but also you to help give you strength in seeing her fade. She was once your caregiver and now it is your turn. You both need the love and prayers and ve assured that you have them. Bless you and your whole family, Eve

Thank you Eve your words have been a comfort. To know that people that have never ever met me care, tells me you Dena and the others are people I am so proud to have in my life. Sometimes its easier to talk here then to family I tend to store everything up rather then worry them.

Now my lovely cousin David has died I haven't seen him for sometime because of distance and my memories are of him as a beautiful child and soul. Will this all never end.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Irene. David surely has a special place in heaven.
