The Spirit Rescue International Forum wishes all it's members to remain safe, secure and feel like a part of the community.

Occasionally, it will be necessary to issue a warning or a temporary or permanent ban to a member, depending on an action or actions that have occurred. It is not our objective to do this, as part of protecting our community and members; we have to have in place a system of dealing with problems and issues that arise.

Requests for help with a haunting or possession can either be placed in as a group discussion or privately through the Spirit Rescue International website.

At our discretion, in accordance with the rules set out below, we may edit, close, or remove posts or threads. If this occurs, we will do our best to notify the member with the explanation for this. Occasionally a thread or post may be temporarily removed from the forum; we will notify the member by email of this.


General

We reserve the right to close or edit posts and threads that have become too heated, attacking, or offensive. A moderator will post a reminder in a thread when it is heading towards moderation under this rule. Please note that this rule is to help foster goodwill and harmony in the community, so please do not take it personally if this rule is applied.

Swearing:
We feel that foul or offensive language has no place here. Posts containing such material will be removed or edited. Continual and deliberate swearing will result in a warning or temporary ban. Attempts to circumvent the swearing filter will also result in a warning and removal of posts.

Harassment:
Every member of Spirit Rescue International Forum is entitled to harassment free membership, any harassment of any nature, including harassment by way of the pm system should be reported to staff immediately. It will be dealt with quickly and discreetly and may result in a warning or ban.

Personal Affairs:
This includes disputes from other forums, private arguments from your personal life and disliking other members, these should not be brought into the forum. This kind of behavior will result in warnings and possible ban.

Personal Information About Fellow Members:
Please do not post any personal information about other members on the open forum without their consent. Should a member contact you and ask you to leave a message for fellow members on their behalf, please mention this to a staff member before you post.


Posting

Sensitive Topics:
We do promote open discussion; we do not promote or condone drug and alcohol abuse or the use of any other illegal substance. Members promoting the use of illegal substances or illegal activities will have their posts removed and receive a warning.

Images:
Please be mindful that this is a friendly forum, images must not depict violence of any kind, any form of abuse or pornography. Breaches of this rule depending on the nature of the image may result in a warning and in serious cases a ban.

Advertising & Self Promotion:
Posts and links that encourage people to buy a product or visit another website to purchase something will be removed.

Multiple Posts & Spamming:
Please do not post the same topic or thread more than once, as the multiple posts will be removed or merged.

Abuse and abusive posts:
The bottom line - don't post anything that you would not want posted in reference to you or your private matters. Please use common sense.
